Bobby Hackel brought the house down in a thrilling finish on The Dirt Track at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Sunday, August 30. The 20 year-old from Rensselaer, NY overcame every challenge thrown his way, fending off two of the northeast’s hottest stock car drivers in Kenny Tremont Jr. and Adam Pierson. The veteran brought a rookie – and everyone else – to school on Saturday, August 29 at Airborne Park Speedway, as Leon Gonyo won a rare “Triple Crown” victory on Huntley Trucking Night. The longtime Chazy campaigner won all three of his races in the J&S Steel Modified division to headline a full night of action for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series presented by Yandow Sales & Service and John Deere.
