PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. -- Airborne Speedway promoter Mike Perrotte informed Vermont Motorsports Magazine Thursday night that a rumored World of Outlaws Sprint Car event will not take place in 2013.
Airborne would have put down a clay surface for a period of time for the event. Perrotte stated that they hope to host the World of Outlaws in 2014. Read Full Story

BURLINGTON, VT -- The stock-car racing website Vermont Motorsports Magazine, found online at vtmotormag.com, has announced the nominations for its fourth annual “Driver of the Year” awards. The fan-voted awards will recognize stock car drivers from Vermont’s local tracks as well as the regional touring series for their efforts during the 2012 season across ten categories. Fourteen tracks make up both schedules; three new venues
WATERBURY, Vt. -- American-Canadian Tour officials have released the schedules for both the ACT United States Late Model Series and the ACT Castrol Series. Both schedules will feature fourteen tracks among four states and one Canadian province. Read Full Story

BARRE, Vt. -- American-Canadian Tour officials have announced a major event weekend, to be known as the International 500, for the weekend of July 20 and 21, 2013 at Airborne Speedway in Plattsburgh, N.Y.
The event will include a $25,000-to-win, three-segment 300-lap Late Model non-point counting event with a minimum $100,000 purse, a two-segment 100-lap DIRT Modified feature, the Sportsman Quebec series, the Tiger Sportsman, the Renegades, and the Bombers. Read Full Story
