Airborne, Devil's Bowl to Host VMRS in 2015

Tentative 17-race schedule set for VMRS
RUTLAND -- The Valenti Modified Racing Series will visit both Airborne Park Speedway and Devil’s Bowl Speedway in 2015, according to a story at RaceDayCT.com.
Mike Bruno, Airborne co-owner and general manager and Devil’s Bowl owner, stated to Shawn Courchesne RaceDayCT that the events had not been finalized at the time of the release of the Valenti Modified Racing Series tentative schedule, which happened at the series’ banquet in early December.
However, an agreement was made to on Friday that will see the open-wheel Modified series visit the two tracks in 2015.
It will mark the first appearance for the Valenti Modified Racing Series at the half-mile oval. The series previously visited Vermont’s other asphalt track, Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl, from 2008 to 2010.
Airborne will welcome the Valenti Modified Racing Series for the third time in series history; the previous two events have not disappointed fans and have produced thrilling finishes.
Tentatively, Airborne will host the asphalt Modifieds on Saturday, May 30 while Devil’s Bowl will welcome the Modifieds on Friday, July 24.
The Valenti Modified Racing Series will return to be part of the famed Oxford 250 weekend with a 100-lap event held on Saturday, August 29. It will mark the series’ seventh visit to Oxford Plains Speedway.
The series will tentatively open their schedule during Blastoff Weekend at Waterford Speedbowl on Sunday, April 5. That date is currently pending legal proceedings with the foreclosure sale of Waterford. Two additional dates have been scheduled for Waterford, first on Saturday, August 8 and again on Saturday, October 3.
Monadnock Speedway will host the Valenti Modified Racing Series three times in 2015. The Spring Dash will kick off Monadnock’s season on Saturday, April 18 and the series will celebrate Independence Day at the track on Saturday, July 4. The series will visit the track for their final time in 2015 on Saturday, August 22. Each event is slated to be a 100-lap race.
The famed Stafford Motor Speedway will see the Valenti Modified Racing Series visit three times in 2015, each for 80-lap events. The three Friday night races will take place on May 22, June 26, and September 4.
Seekonk Speedway will host a single event in 2015 on Saturday, June 6. Lee USA speedway will see the Modifieds visit on Friday, June 19 for a 100-lap event and again during Oktoberfest Weekend on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11.
Beech Ridge Motor Speedway will host the Valenti Modified Racing Series on Saturday, August 1 for a 100-lap event. Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park will host the season finale during World Series Weekend where the Valenti Modifieds will race in a 50 lap shootout.
