Canaan Dirt Speedway Readies for Giant July 3 Spectacular

CANAAN, N.H. -- The roar of engines will be coming alive on Tuesday night, July 3rd with the running of the Miller Auto Group, Noise “R” Us Fireworks, 4th of July Spectacular. This gigantic special event will feature a $1,000 to win Twin 20’s, Modified event, along with the ScoNE 360 Sprint Cars, Super Streets, a Bomber Enduro, plus a wild and wacky chain race. The evening’s activities will end with a giant fireworks display courtesy of Noise “R” Us Fireworks of Newport, New Hampshire.
“With the 4th of July being on a Wednesday this year, we decided to do something special for fans and race teams on the night before. People can come out and see the best dirt track racing in the area, and enjoy a fun evening of family excitement. We are expecting many outsiders to attempt to qualify for the event. $1,000 is posted for the winner, with a healthy purse all the way down through the field. Since we are expecting a large field of teams to enter the event, we have also put aside money for a “B” feature if necessary," stated General Manager, Dick Therrien. "This is one event you will not want to miss!”
