WATERBURY, Vt. -- Veteran American Canadian Tour (ACT) stock car racer Randy Potter of Groveton, NH filed the first full season entry for the 10-event 2012 ACT Tour. Potter and his Lancaster Auto Sales/Speedway Sports Park Chevrolet team were recently honored at the ACT Banquet of Champions for their 5th place finish in the 2011 standings. Read Full Story

HINESBURG, Vt. -- Bobby Therrien has been named the driver that will replace the retiring Brad Leighton for Pete Duto and Dave Parker at Fast One Motorsports. Leighton decided to retire this past fall after racing for over three decades behind the wheel. Read Full Story

DOVER, N.H. -- Wayne Helliwell, Jr., will be a busy man in 2012.
The Dover, N.H., championship winning racer has announced he will return to the Ed and Bobby Witkum-owned Small Block Supermodified to defend his track championship at Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H. Helliwell will also race the Bruce Bernhardt-owned No. 27 Late Model, returning to the American-Canadian Tour, as well as running weekly at the newly NASCAR-sacntioned Canaan Fair Speedway in Canaan, N.H. BURLINGTON -- The American Canadian Tour (ACT) crowned Brian Hoar of Williston, VT and Patrick Laperle of St-Denis, Quebec as the ACT Tour and Série ACT Castrol stock car racing champions respectively, at the ACT Banquet of Champions on Saturday, January 21 at the Double Tree Inn in Burlington, VT. It was the first ever combined banquet for the sister championship stock car racing series. Both champions cashed a point fund check of $10,000. Read Full Story

Theriault to chase full ACT Late Model Tour, southern Super Late Model races for BKR

FORT KENT, Maine -- Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, Maine, will try and complete some unfinished business this season while also setting out on a new venture in his racing career.
Theriault will run the complete ACT Late Model Tour schedule in 2012 as he chases his first career Tour championship, while the 17-year-old will also run more than half a dozen Super Late Model events as a development driver for Brad Keselowski Racing. Read Full Story
