PASS National Schedule To Feature Some Of Nation’s Most Famed Short Tracks

NAPLES, Maine --
Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials announced today the seven venues that will make up the 2012 PASS National Championship schedule. The PASS National Championship is comprised of seven races that combines select events from the PASS South and PASS North schedules to crown the nation’s only true Super Late Model Champion. The PASS National Championship will be contested at some of the country’s most famous short tracks including: Hickory (NC) Motor Speedway, Stafford (CT) Motor Speedway, White Mountain (NH) Motorsports Park, Beech Ridge (ME) Motor Speedway, Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, TN, Caraway (NC) Speedway, and Concord (NC) Speedway. MONTPELIER --
Dave Pembroke has been one of the most consistent sights at the Barre high banks in his familiar No. 44 for over the past ten years. Pembroke, along the way, has been "King of the Road" twice, 2002 Milk Bowl champion, 12-time Late Model winner, and 1999 Tiger Sportsman champion. Those accomplishments place him in the discussion as one of the best racers in the northeast.

Pembroke will have an opportunity to put those accomplishments to the test with a new group of competitors in 2012, however. Read Full Story

Dirt Track Racing Front Runner edges out ACT Tiger Champion O'Donnell

BURLINGTON, VT --
Dirt track stock car racing driver Kevin Chaffee has been named the Vermont Motorsports Magazine 2011 Driver of the Year by the readers of www.vtmotormag.com

Over 13,000 votes were cast across eleven categories in a two-week online poll at the Vermont Motorsports Magazine website. Fairlee, Vt., driver Chaffee earned 26% of the vote in the overall VMM 2011 Driver of the Year category. The DIRTcar Sportsman Modified, USAC Dirt Midget Association, and Sprint Cars of New England winner edged ACT Bond/WIX Tiger Tour and Thunder Road Int'l Speedbowl Tiger Sportsman champion Derrick O'Donnell, of Bradford, Vt., by 35 votes for the award. Stafford Speedway Adds PASS to its 2012 Schedule

STAFFORD SPRINGS, Conn. --
Stafford Motor Speedway is continuing its theme of change with regards to its 2012 schedule. The 2012 schedule brought with it a host of new events in the form of extra distance and double feature nights, as well as a new Saturday event. The changes to the 2012 schedule continue as the Connecticut half-mile facility has announced that they will host the Pro All-Star Series (PASS) for the very first time on Sunday, August 26.
