WALPOLE, N.H. --
Granite State Pro Stock Series officials released their 2015 schedule of events that will see the fourth year series run 10 of their 11 races in their home state and a return home to the site of the series’ first race.

The lone appearance outside of the Granite State will come on Sunday, April 12, as the Granite State Pro Stock Series will open their season at the famed Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park during the annual Icebreaker Weekend.

Claremont Speedway, which hosted the first Granite State Pro Stock Series race in 2011, will make a return appearance after a new ownership group has taken control of the one-third mile oval. The 125-lap event will be held on Friday, April 24.

Monadnock Speedway will host the first of two Granite State Pro Stock Series events on Saturday, May 23 with a 100-lap event. The JBH 100 will be held at Monadnock for the series second visit on Saturday, August 8.

Star Speedway and Hudson Speedway will each host two races in 2015, the first coming on Sunday, June 14 at Hudson for the Gate City Classic 100. Star Speedway will host their first race just two weeks later on Saturday, June 27. Hudson will host the penultimate race on Sunday, August 23 with the Hudson Hugger 100, while Star will host the season finale during the International Supermodified Association Star Classic on Saturday, September 12.

Speedway 51 will return to the Granite State Pro Stock Series schedule under the new ownership of Joey Laquerre. Formerly known as Riverside Speedway, the track hosted the Granite State Pro Stock Series in 2013 and will welcome the series in 2015 for a 151-lap event on Saturday, July 4.

Lee USA Speedway will host the Granite State Pro Stock Series on Friday, July 24 while White Mountain Motorsports Park will welcome the Pro Stocks on Saturday, August 8. Both races will be 100 laps each.

“I am really excited to be able to bring the series back to Claremont Speedway, as well as Speedway 51,” Series President Mike Parks stated in a press release issued by the series. “A lot of our competitors have turned many laps at the Claremont oval (and) we’re thrilled to bring out series there on opening night next season.”

Before the 2015 season, however, the Granite State Pro Stock Series will celebrate their 2014 season and champion Dillon Moltz during their Champions Banquet on Saturday, January 10 at the Executive Court Banquet Facility in Manchester, N.H.
